Free 2008 Calendar

We all like "free" things, especially when there no strings attached  With a few clicks of your mouse and a few taps on your keyboard will get you a 08 Calendar Free from the BBC/OU (maybe this year I'll enroll in one of their courses) The Calendar is quite good, nice pictures, It also gives you ideas of what can be done, and what to look out for that month. Take February for instance, In the "have you seen part" it tells you to keep an eye out for  Bumblebee's,Frogs and Labybirds and provides space to enter how many seen and the date.  Great or kids!

All you have to do is logon to the BBC  Nature of Britain web site and enter your details.

One word of caution though, on the inner page there is a photo of Alan Titchmarsh!

Windows Writer

Hmm seems as thought Microsoft are jumping on the Blogger bandwagon,  just like everyone else it seems.  Just thought I try using "Writer" to add a entry to this blog.

Updated on those Terrocs,  I do find that when I first put them on they do rub agaist my Fibula ( the bit of bone that sticks out on the out of your ankle) but after 5 minutes or so it does seem to bother me.  Oh and they are noise when walking on hard surfaces kinda reminds me a tap dacing shoes,  not that I ever done any tap your understand.

Any-ways been Lazy (what new erh?)  so haven't been out and about much.  Did set my mind on going to Edale this weekend, but Flu (man cold?) put a stop to that.  I think I must be mard, got home from work on Thursday night and when straight to bed and didn't get out until Sunday morning.  Feel not too bad now, might go into work tomorrow...
